Ampetronic is located 5 minutes from the A1, close to the junction of the A1 and A46 on the North side of Newark. Newark is 125 miles North of Central London (approximately 2hr30 by road or 1hr15 by train).
From the A1:
Come off the A1 at the North side of Newark, signposted to Lincoln A46, which takes you onto a pair of roundabouts. Follow directions to Newark, B6166. This will take you off the double roundabout towards Newark, passing a caravan showroom on the left. Continue past one set of traffic lights. After half a mile you will approach a second set of lights with a large Motor Parts store on the left side, just before a railway bridge. Turn left at this junction into Northern Road. Follow this around a dog-leg, then past the Volkswagen garage on the left. Ampetronic is the first building on the left past the Volkswagen garage. Parking is available at the front of the building.
From the A46:
From the North, leave the A46 at the A46/A1 junction. From the South/West, follow the A46 bypass around Newark to the A1/A46 junction. From this junction, enter Newark on the B6166, following instructions above.
Newark Northgate station is very close to Ampetronic. This station lies on the GNER line from London to Edinburgh, connecting to London in as little as 1hr15.
Newark Castle station is 5 minutes from Ampetronic. This station can be reached directly from Nottingham, Birmingham and Lincoln.
